I'm Choral Director (and singing) for a Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra performance celebrating Aaron Copland's time in Mexico. This melding of music, theater and history aims to explore the effect that the Red Scare and communism had on Copland’s music and point of view in the 1950s. Presented in partnership with the Burchfield Penney Art Gallery. Matthew Marco, pianist; Victoria Perez, director; Joseph Horowitz, host/producer. Free admission for BPAC members and Buff State Students; $10 adults/$5 students. More info about this fun & unique event here! Check out the BPO's Press Release too.
