I'll be singing Alto (solo and consort) with Philip Thorby in Venice this week, culminating in a performance of Rigatti, Riccio and Monteverdi Vespers 1640 with full consort (baroque violins, sackbuts, curtal & continuo). Somewhat of a pastiche, A Venetian Vespers is rarely performed as such, so this is a really exciting opportunity. The band will perform sonatas by Frescobaldi and Castello as well.
